Seeds of Hope Farms in Spanish Lake and Bel-Ridge, MO.
Applicants should be interested in urban farming, sustainability, and community engagement.
Learn community farming seed to plate for a good social cause.
Apprenticeship term is mid-April -November, full time, includes some weekends and evenings.
Field work will occupy the majority of apprentice’s time with some office tasks.
Good physical condition, ability to work in undesirable weather conditions, early morning availability, basic computer skills, good written and verbal communication, accountability, dependability, and ability to work well in a group or alone are a must. Competitive pay. Upbeat attitude and experience with horticulture, agriculture, gardening, and/or community organizing is preferred. Valid driver’s license and insurance required. Submit by 3/25/17.
