CAASTLC Seeking Community Farm Apprentice in Spanish Lake Work locally on Trampe Avenue while improving your neighborhood and learning to grow food for yourself and others at Seeds of Hope Farm! Applicants should be interested in urban farming, sustainability, and community engagement. Position offers opportunity to learn community farming seed to plate for a good social cause. Apprenticeship term is April through November, full time, includes some weekends and evenings. Field work will occupy the majority of apprentice’s time. Will perform some office tasks. Position musts include good physical condition, ability to work in undesirable weather conditions, early morning availability, basic computer skills, good written and verbal communication, accountability, dependability, and ability to work well in a group or alone.
