We at Seeds of Hope Farm in Spanish Lake, north St. Louis County, are organizing a good old-fashioned crop mob on Sunday, September 16. Come get your hands dirty preparing for fall, meet new friends, enjoy a farm-fresh lunch and learn more about our neighborhood urban farm project and community supported agriculture (CSA). Sponsored by your local Community Action Agency, we strive to increase food security and access to fresh organically grown fruits and vegetables among low-income St. Louisans. Come help this young farm get on its feet!
When: Sunday, September 16, 9 AM – 1 PM
Where: 1120 Trampe Ave. behind St. Peter’s Church. Our farm is easy to find and close to the city.

To RSVP please call us at 314-614-0412 or join the event on Facebook.
The Crop Mob event is being held as a prelude to the upcoming Seeds of Hope benefit that will take place later this month on September 27 to raise funds that will sustain CAASTLC’s community farming efforts and to raise awareness about the agency’s nutritional programs. NewsChannel 5’s own Kelly Jackson will be the MC for the evening’s festivities.
